Kudos to 94-year-old Yayoi Kusama for her globally successful art career! And, kudos to 17-year-old Tokito Oda for his victory at Wimbledon wheelchair tennis!!! Those two thankfully make Japan look as if it's a feminism, wheelchair-friendly country.
I think most people around the world have a fairly positive image of Japan. Superficial perhaps, but a lot of fun!! However, living here, we may be a bit less impressed. But it's all a matter of perspective. Would we rather live somewhere else?
Author Sawako Ariyoshi had been serialized "The multiple contamination" in Asahi News, 1974~1975. She wrote about chemical fertilizers and food additives in the agricultural and food preserving miserable technology. No one knows where it lands on, but some kids were short lived in the serious atopy.
Thanks for it in a good timing, "Summer Time".

Glad you liked 'Summertime'.
Perhaps my favorite version? (There are thousands!!)
A timeless classic. And a great mood setter.
Stay cool!
