  1. It’s a shame I couldn’t make it to the tea party...
But I’m glad everyone seemed to have a good time!

Thank you, Ian, for your continuous effort to make the news class interesting and fun.

  2. Sweat like a pig! early morning and evening with daily routines.

Spend hearing a pin drop in mid summer holiday.
The time is important for me to think about what I was and what I should be.
Why I study English, why I take care of my health, why I seek fulfillment and ..... .

  3. Dear Ian and friends

When I realized myself, I was just in a circle of friends.
It was a reality for the moment
    on that day.
We were exactly spending for a couple of hours together.

Think positive to make things positive!!

    Be happy for you all.

    2. Masumi-san! Good job!

    4. I was fascinated by her speech. She is a clever person.
She implied Trump and Biden to "going high" and "it is what it is".
I wanted to introduce watching her speech.
She really knows  "it is what it is".

    5. Thank you so much about that, sho san!

I only knew Trump responded "It is what it is" when asked about staggering death tolls from coronavirus during the conference.

As soon as you uplorded your comment, I researched two expressions.
A Super former first lady, Michelle Obama came to our life again.

She put "the cold hard truth" on her speech in Democratic National Convention for Biden's campaign.
"Going high" well echoed inside us, and me along with this phrase, "the cold hard…."

We have got to reflect our truth in a closed society, discrimination still rigit!!
