  1. It’s always interesting to me that many foreign people love cherry blossoms in Japan, sometimes more than Japanese people do.

    They’re beautiful, but somehow I can’t ged rid of the sadness they bear from my mind —Japanese army used them as a symbol of brave soldiers who dedicated their lives to the nation during the World War Two, saying ‘fall beautifully like cherry petals’ for the country.

    Of course, ‘Cherry Ingram’ visited Japan long time before the war!
