Keep the lights on!

  1. Ushio ultraviolet lamp may completely deal with the coronavirus in the public facilities with violet lighting.
They said that can kill the virus by setting in a high location,
such as on the ceiling to irradiate its entire surroundings with no harmful effect 200→230 nm.
Care 222 wavelength is 222 nm.

    It's an amazing product.
We can spend good lives with no worries about a such harmful virus.

Visible violet light and unvisible ultraviolet light both
    have sterilization power.

    This article reminded me about
that my newborn daughter had treated to take her jaundice off in the glass case for a week.
During the days she was exposed to LED.

Thank you for Yuki san, I remember the above.

    1. The new ultra violent technology is great.
I hope it will help create germ-free medical environment for both patients and workers.

So, Shuko san, we were pretty much exposed to UV lights in the past without knowing it was harmful.
      Someone should have enlightened me!!

  2. There’s something I have noticed recently.
The many of new houses’ ground parts are completely covered with cement.
There’re not any plants nor soil but car parks.
People don’t like to sweep fallen leaves, and weeding.
It’s a pity. I like the shade of trees, and crickets sound in autumn.

Therefore the vertical project seems nice at a glance.
It emits fresh air , brings good habitats of insects.
But it’s not for birds. Too close to human being.
Nice try, but a bit shame!
    Actually, I am an acrophobia.

    1. I was one of weeding hate person, and, my daughters were insect phobia. Then, we chose high floor to live. Mosquitoes use lift to come to our floor, (usually with people). I know it is unnatural...

    2. There are small pools in the Forest Garden's balconies.
They are the incubators of mosquito larvae.
So, how about introducing killifish or dragonfly nymphs there?

Things are not so easy, though.

  3. Ginsburg left the last word. "Next justice should be chosen by the next  president."
People having common sense follow old man's advice.
Mr. Trump ignored her word and has chosen Amy Coney for next justice before election.
She is a beautiful lady and confident. Mr. Trump likes that kind of.

    I like a humble and self-effacing.

    1. This issue will be a 'BONE of contention' for years to come, perhaps decades.
The division in America will be wider than ever. The 2nd US civil war is nearer than ever!

    2. I thought the US history is too short to learn from itself.
      But that’s wrong.
Look at China. I hope that Chinese government would look back
the Tang Dynasty which enjoyed great prosperity by generosity to
diferent race, cultures and religions. I have learnt so.

    3. We can and should, all learn from our own history.
But unfortunately, history is often distorted & disputed.

Those in power, of course, prefer to keep the people in ignorance.
But that is not always possible, especially in the age of mass communication.

The internet can be a great tool for knowledge.
But it can also be an unreliable source of the truth.

Cross referencing is the best way.
Double check before deciding what to believe.
Always question everything we are told.
And most importantly, keep an open mind!

    4. Senora Setsuko! You know more than me and are clever.
At school I hardly watch class, especially English and history.

It is said Kyoto and Nara escaped from the atomic bomb.
The US had known how important culture and ancient civilization.

China, it dated further back, the age of Confucius and Mencius.
Japan sent people to Sui and Tang. It made open distinctive Japanese culture.
Now We see China is a country, cunning and wise. Where is ancient teaching?

People are originally friendly and kind wherever you go. it is certain someone's not.
We had better not give such people a loaded gun.
Though, history is the history of war.

Any way I mentioned about Mr. Trump.
He somehow want to escape to be a lame-duck president.

    5. The burning of books and burying of scholors in Qin dynasty
in 213 b.c., are not only for the ancient China
but also for "Wen-hua dage-ming" the Cultural Revolution of Maoism, and "Xi Jinping" Era at present.

Jiang Qing was a wife of Mao Ze-dong and one of "Foursome" that brutally abused dissidents who were intellectuals.

Each dictator of ongoing countries take tricky measures to public which are no longer unusual recently.
