  1. Admittedly, the act of crying helped me relieve stress and improved my mental health when I was in my twenties. I was sometimes a crying drunk at a party. Thank goodness, that article reminded me of how good it is even for adults to CRY!!
    ‘Catharsis’—Aristotle called the experience—it’s a purification or cleansing of minds particularly through pity, sorrow and sympathy. Ancient Greek people knew how to relieve stress through tragedies (and comedies).
    Oh, has anyone watched ‘Song For Marion’? I highly recommend it if you want catharsis.
    It’s a sad yet beautiful movie... Cheers!

      Yes, catharsis is a good thing for everyone.
      And there are many ways to get it.
      For example, playing the drums also relieves stress
      (for the drummer, but may cause stress for the listener!!)

      I would like to watch that film.
