'A Dark Day For Europe' - What the papers say about the invasion of Ukraine

Only one headline today!

  1. It seems that the invasion of Ukraine was always a matter of when, not if. We now have another war in Europe.
The world has been shaken by the reckless act of a 21st century tyrant. Where it will end, nobody can say.

But it seems that there has never been a time in recent history where nations have felt the need for unity.
Russia should be isolated, most agree. But we have yet to see which nations may try to defend or support the aggressor.

We have already had to face the reality of a new world order, at least temporarily, due to the pandemic.
But now, the world has shifted once more, to a darker place. Our fragile peace has never been threatened to such a degree.

I sincerely hope that we will all live to see brighter days.

  2. Oh? Nooo…!!

What a hopeless matter he did!! It became the fifth day to invade Ukraine. There will be nothing good but dark days for Europe.

EU&US excluded Russia from SWIFT(International Bank Operation System), Brussels.

Germany halted its Nord Streamï¼’gas pipeline project with Russia and Feb 27 Sholz said to build two LNG terminals, also accelerate imports.
EU closed airspace to Russian flights.
Belarus approved hosting nuclear weapons and Russian forces permanently on constitutional reform today.

EU & the other countries are ongoing to send fighter jets and weapons.

I'm caught in a dilemma, choosing weapons to fight or armistice to lose homeland.

The fundamentals of us all will fall into an unbalanced and unknown phase in the thumbed COVID.

    Hard days!!

They like this next country so much(an expert said so).
NHK news caster called for Mr.Putin not to disgrace his own glorious career.

I want to tell those brave men who are confronting aggressor.
Don't die in haste. Your mother , your wife ,your girlfriend, they would be heartbroken.
Live through to rebuild your beautiful country.

  4. Once George Bush called 'Axis of Evil' for 3 nations end of year 2000, such Tyrants, dictators with background of authoritarian have similarity
    1. Isolated power without real reputation
    2. A Big liar using fake propaganda
    3. Illegal fortune for himself disregarding wealth of their people
    4. Violence for depression using militarization force
    5. Ignore human right and lives.
We can determine such national leaders are - Putin, Kim Jong Un, Lukashenko, Xi Jing Ping and Min Aun Iaiwn who stay east side of Eurasia.
Now the world begins to condemn Russia by economic sanction, then we extend it to other countries to protect human right.
