Two years ago in May We, four visited Kusama Museum. There Yayoi's message was on the wall. Her message was:
Struggle is endless I want to create more innovative works I am sleepless thinking about that Thoughts of creating are yearnings for the unknown I want to pursue my struggle as an avant-garde artist Until expire
I want to rewrite the words 'an avant-garde artist' to 'an ordinary person'. How about that?

Ordinary??!! That's not a word I'd use to describe Ms Kusama.
DeleteBut I suppose she has to do ordinary things every day, just like everyone else.
I don't particularly like the label, avant-garde, either.
Innovative, influential or inspirational artist works better for me.
I was so impressed by
ReplyDeletethe article, Yayoi Kusama. Her massage has so many words which could express some lightings to our soul in the historic menace.
Dots by the art from her really inspired me Covid-19, she is fighting
dots.
