YES! We will be 'meeting' next Wednesday @ 11:00, ONLINE! To join, you simply need to click on a link which I will send you by email. I have researched extensively which Video Conferencing tool to use. It seems to be a choice between SKYPE + ZOOM . The big advantage of SKYPE is that anyone can join,  even without having the SKYPE APP installed!  You can simply use a web browser!! However, many people cite the superior quality of ZOOM . To use, you will need the APP installed, but that's all. The email link will automatically take you to the meeting place, EASY! So, I'd like as many of you to download both ZOOM + SKYPE if possible. Then we can test both of them next Wednesday & compare. Let me know how you get on.  BE SEEING YOU!   

Dear friends & students,  as you have probably heard, this Spring semester has been cancelled due to the continued spread of the new coronavirus, COVID-19. This is very sad news, I'm sure you'll agree, but everyone's safety is the main reason for this decision.  Therefore, I have decided to try to continue the TALKING NEWS Spring course, as usual, and for the first time, ONLINE. I am currently considering many options & I will hopefully be able to tell you more, soon.  Any comments or suggestions will be most welcome. All you need to interact with this blog, and with the online course, is a Google account . 日 本語 So, it's not all bad news. I promise to bring as many positive stories to you as possible, this year.  Stay tuned! Ian
