My personal prediction for the prime minister election(followed by the governor of LDP) is as follows. The first stage election with same votes from LDP national members - total 766 votes (383 + 383 ) (1) Kohno, but not exceeding a half votes less than 340 (2) Kishida (less than 300) (3) Takaichi (less than 80) (4) Noda ( less than 50) Then proceed to the second election with 1/10th number accounting for national members - majority by lawmakers votes for top two candidates. (1) Kishida takes majority thanks to the shadow power of Abe, Aso and Amano - 3A powers. (2) Kohno Then Mr. Kishida will be elected new governor of LDP and then approved as new prime minister in early October. Unfortunately the glass ceiling for women will not be broken in Japan.
Thanks Sheiichi for the prediction of two elections right now. l'd only pray their fairness and prides. Mr. Kishida is not well leading the Kochi group which was a mainstream in LDP, I'm from Kagawa and graduated a same high school of Ohira former PM who was highly respected as a politician. Mr Kishida has to brace himself and get to work without Abe. I'm not a supporter of LDP, though.
