I was surprised to know there is such a law to require to stockpile coffee in Switzerland. It’s good to be prepared in case of emergency, but COFFEE?! Is it because Switzerland is a mountainous country and not very agricultural, and therefore they need to stockpile any food items?
Anyway, I checked Japanese government website to see how much we have for emergency. Guess what. The government only has rice, wheat and animal food in stock. Doesn’t publicize any further. No sugar, no oil, much less coffee. No such regulations as Swiss law at all. Just some recommendations to retailers and households to stockpile themselves.
Now that I’m worried... I have to prepare a big box of food, water, oil, batteries, portable gas, ....what else do I need?!
So, we need sophisticate our class; we knew only few occupied on the blog.
Any way this week idioms were " Calf love, half love; old love, cold love." "Work now, play after.","Soon gotten, soon lost.","Wrangle for an ass's shadow." These have deep meanings for how to live. Adapt your own environment.
Yuki! Please enjoy your life without worrying; do your best and let God do the rest. Though, better prepare basics for the disaster; I stock rice for one year and have electric generator.
Now the most important thing for me is to take care of my garden. We coexist.

So, Mr. Idiom is a man of many hats?!
DeleteGreen-fingers too!?
Are you 'leading us down the garden path' ?
Or perhaps, 'everything in the garden is rosy' ??
Hey, thank you, Shoji, for your nice words.
DeleteOkay, so if anything happens, I’ll be evacuated to your place!
